The kitchen may be the most important space to stage in a home. It’s where homeowners spend most of their time and is a focal point for family interactions. We’re drawn to kitchens that are light, organized, spacious, and stylish. In this post, we’ve highlighted some of the kitchen accessories that we’ve been using a lot lately for maximum impact. It was really tough to narrow it down to our top 5, so we’ve decided to showcase our staging favorites in a weekly series. The sources for each item are listed at the bottom. Happy staging!
How do I use these items?
The white sycamore basket from Serena & Lily looks great on a counter filled with apples, artichokes, or oranges. The round cutting boards could be placed vertically on the backsplash behind the stovetop or on a counter. Fill the canisters with white flour, sugar, beans, or pasta to keep the look bright and airy. Matte gold is super trendy at the moment. Flatware can be used on a breakfast bar place setting or even placed into a small utensil crock. A runner brings warmth and harmony to a space with a lot of hard surfaces like a kitchen. We generally position the runner parallel to the kitchen island if there is one in the room.
